Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Large Language Modeler to join our AI team and develop advanced language models tailored for the real estate sector. The ideal candidate will design, train, and deploy LLMs to enhance Homifax’s asset management platform, enabling automated insights, natural language interfaces for asset verification, and intelligent report generation. This role requires deep expertise in natural language processing, machine learning, and a passion for applying AI to real estate challenges.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop large language models to support real estate-specific applications, such as automated asset verification, property data analysis, and report publishing.
- Fine-tune LLMs to process and generate accurate, context-aware responses for real estate queries, including property records, market trends, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to integrate LLMs into Homifax’s asset management platform and Multi Listing Service (HMLS).
- Build and maintain datasets for training models, ensuring high-quality, real estate-specific data related to assets, transactions, and regulations.
- Optimize model performance for scalability, latency, and accuracy in production environments.
- Stay current with advancements in NLP and LLMs, applying best practices to enhance model capabilities and user experience.
- Ensure ethical AI practices, including bias mitigation and compliance with data privacy regulations in the real estate sector.
- Provide technical documentation and present model performance metrics to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, NLP, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying large language models or NLP systems.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and NLP libraries (e.g., Hugging Face, spaCy).
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) for model training and deployment.
- Familiarity with real estate data, including property records, asset verification processes, or market analysis, is a plus.
- Experience with fine-tuning LLMs for domain-specific applications and handling large-scale datasets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of ethical AI practices and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is preferred.
