Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Blockchain Developer to join our technology team and drive the development of blockchain-based solutions for asset record management. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain secure blockchain networks to support Homifax’s mission of delivering trusted asset verification and tracking services. This role requires expertise in blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and a passion for innovating in asset management.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop blockchain-based solutions for asset verification, tracking, and record management, ensuring security, scalability, and immutability.
• Implement and deploy smart contracts to automate asset-related processes, such as ownership transfers and verification workflows.
• Integrate blockchain solutions with Homifax’s asset management platform and Multi Listing Service (HMLS) for real estate and marine sectors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI, data science, and product teams, to enhance platform functionality and user experience.
• Build and maintain decentralized applications (DApps) to support asset record publishing and client interactions.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards for blockchain implementations.
• Optimize blockchain performance, including transaction speed and cost, for production environments.
• Stay current with blockchain advancements and recommend innovative solutions to enhance Homifax’s offerings.
• Provide technical documentation and support for blockchain infrastructure and smart contract deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in blockchain development, with a focus on Ethereum, Solana, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in smart contract development using Solidity, Rust, or Vyper.
• Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, cryptography, consensus mechanisms, and decentralized systems.
• Experience with blockchain frameworks and tools (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle, Open Zeppelin, or Web3.js).
• Familiarity with asset management processes in real estate or marine sectors is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Go.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) for deploying blockchain solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and ethical blockchain practices.
